is a context for artistic work and working community.

Work takes shape through the sharing of methods, resources, and time. Practices are taken up, set aside, continued, and shifted through contact. What happens is everyday and situated: conversations that return, materials that circulate, working relationships that are kept alive.

The starting point is artist to artist. A movement between people and actions, rooted in a tradition of collegial support and ongoing learning that extends beyond any single practice.

The aim is not to resolve economic conditions or remove obstacles. The context is held to enable exchanges that are otherwise difficult to establish, across geographies, time, and differences in working conditions. The working community changes in use and takes form through those who participate.
